Dine for Dementia this January
In recognition of Alzheimer’s Awareness Month, restaurants across Durham Region are participating in our Dining for Dementia fundraising campaign to support the nearly 12,000 people living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in our community.
Visit one of the participating Dining for Dementia restaurants during the month of January and the restaurant will donate to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region.
Funds raised from our Dining for Dementia fundraising campaign will help provide
- Counselling, support groups and social recreation programs for people living with dementia and their families.
- Education and training for health care professionals, local businesses, and the community to help make Durham Region more dementia-friendly.
